D20 Roller
The d20 decides the fate of every adventurer. Roll a beautifully detailed 20-sided die in 3D and watch it bounce before revealing your number.
Use it for attack rolls, saving throws and ability checks. Add a modifier for your bonus, roll two for advantage or disadvantage, and enjoy the celebration on a natural 20.
How to roll
- Tap the ROLL button, tap any die, or swipe across the table to throw.
- Press and hold the button or a die to charge up — the longer you hold, the wilder the dice bounce and the higher they fly.
- On a phone, simply shake it to roll.
- Double-tap a die to lock it so it stays put on the next roll.

Why people love 3DRoll
- Realistic physics: every throw tumbles, bounces off the edges and settles naturally — the result is truly random.
- Roll up to 6 dice on a computer and up to 3 on a phone, and mix different dice in one throw.
- 18 materials, from classic ivory, marble and walnut to crystal, opal, galaxy and candy dice.
- Polyhedral D&D dice (d4 to d20 and d100), plus ready-made dice for parties, chores, food and decisions — or make your own with text, emoji or photos.
- Roll history of your last 30 throws with totals, saved only on your device.
- Works in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Mac and PC. Add it to your home screen to use it like an app.
FAQ
How do I roll with advantage?
Add a second d20 in Dice → Polyhedral and roll both, then keep the higher number (or the lower one for disadvantage).
Is the online d20 fair?
Yes. The physics simulation gives every face the same chance, from a critical fail on 1 to a natural 20.
Is 3DRoll free?
Yes. 3DRoll is completely free, with no sign-up and nothing to install. Just open the page and roll.
Are the rolls really random?
Each throw starts with a random spin and force, then a physics engine simulates the dice bouncing and settling. The face that ends up on top is the result, just like real dice.
Does it work offline?
After your first visit over HTTPS, the page is cached, so you can keep rolling without a connection. You can also add it to your home screen.
